History

Education is the manifestation of perfection already in man, so say Swamiji while giving importance on Education to liberate India from the slavery and bondage of the British rule. Since then he travelled far and wide across india to enlighten the so called uneducated and prejudiced massses with the rainbow of knowledge. In the same vein great personalities like Vidyasagar, Rabindranath, B.R.Amdedkar contributed a lot for the widespread education in our country. After the Independance our mother nation has given birth of hundreds of educational institutions with flying colours in each and every corner of the country.

Our school is the outcome of the charity, efforts and endeavours of many humanitarian villegers-who are mostly cultivators and fishermen and whose day-in and day-out effortless inspiration,labour,financial aid and assistance and above all enthusiasm laid the foundation of the school on 6th January, 1965 in a remote village named Chaknan very close to the south bank of the river Haldi. Since then the Teaching Learning process in our Institute flows in the full swing at its own sweet will amid the beauty and bounty of a rural and friendly atmosphere. Till now, our Institute has gained much acclamation and acievement not only in the realm of imparting education, but aiso in the arena of sports and cultural activities.

Our school was upgrated to Madhyamik in 1968 and ti Higher Secondary in 2010 with a plethora of combination subjects for Science, Arts and Combination Streams enfiched by a handful of young and promising teaching and non-teaching staff who are round the clock akin to foster the children in a homely environment.The performance of our school in MP is alaways impressive and envious and in HS is not far from being fantastic. The institute is now easily accessible to the willing students from far and wide as all sorts of vihicles are avaliable for twenty four hours. The Institute has its own Library although with a little collection of books, science labs, recently a gym. to take pride in. For the all-round development of chij=ldren, the school organises debate,Quiz contest, Recitation, Physical Education throughout the year. Needless to say, the school is now a pride to all and sundry.
