ABASBERIA ADARSHA VIDYAPITH is situated at Abasberia under bhagwanpur police station under Purbamedinipur district.Though it has not been so famous  but it is wellknown as it is possess the index Nois V2001ofWest Bengal Boardl of secondary education.It is a matter of surprise that the school got it"s first recognition as a X Class school which was set up by Ava Maity,former ministerof WEST BENGAL.At the very begining the school was running in mud hut & now the school is three storied pucca building.with the great effort of teaching & non teaching staff.They have been playing a great role to built character and  their also.The school was upgraded as HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL from 2012.Local people believe that the school got to success by the grace of Baba Gangadhar Jiu who is worshipped in theShiva Temple adjacent to school.
