
In 1969 many educational interested person had realized the need of secondary education in the vast backward locality of SARISHAKHOLA and had taken a decision to set up a secondary school . In those days the only way to communicate the nearest semi town , Keshpur by cart through muddy field. All the Secondary Institution were located far away from this remote locality . Land lord lt. Sk Fakir Mahammad donated some lands to set up and to maintain the Secondary School in the name of his deceased father SAMIRUDDIN . At the same time his younger brother lt. Sk Khoda Newas and some others also had donated some lands. In 1970 the school started its journey as 4 class Jr. High School . In 1974 the school recognised as 2 class Jr. High school by the West Bengal Board Of Secondary Education. In 1978 the school building is fully destroyed by the unprecedented devastating diluvium . But the inundation could not destroyed the thirst of Education of this locality .The then HM Sk Golam Mostafa had started a new building with the help of local people to continue the progress of Secondary Education . In 1991 the School was recognized as 4 Class Jr. High School and in 2008 it was affiliated as HIGH School by the same Board. Finally, in 2014 it appeared publicly as H.S. School by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education. In the meantime the School was affiliated by the West Bengal State Council for Vocational Education and Training viii+ level in 2011.ICT@SCHOOL PROJECT had been started in 2014.
