I deem it is my great scope to write some Words at very beginning of our School Website which is named in remembrance of “Sitaramjew temple”located just behind the institution.

Shyamchandpur has a special gratitude where thegreatnovelits honourable Mr. Sarat chandra Chatterjee set foot to marry Hiranmoyee Devi (2nd wife):

Shyamchandpur was the epi-centre of great historic revolution – “chour-revolution" and " Nill revolution" Another glorious history of Shyamchandpur is that the great of prolific writer of mediavel era in Bengali Literature and Sri kabi Kamkam Mukundaram Chakraborty Wrole his immortal Creation - The 'Chandi mangal' at Shyam chandpur

Inspite of that the day when pupil had to walk 8.K.M to go to high school. It was due to the fact that no high school was here at- shyamchandpur as well as in the neighboring villages. It was only in 1969 when a brilliant young man with iron determination came here from the neighboring Village Solidila to establish a high school here at Shyamchandpur he was name other than Sri Ranjit Kumarr Mallick, an A.T of Sahaspur high School. Villagers of Shyamchandpur agreed in no time to Construct a high school but a grave problem appeared as the financial Capabilities of the villagers were limited. But to the great Surprise of all Sri Maniklal Kundu of the Village Solidiha Came forward and promised to give financial assistance as much 'as required. The Deshcommittee of Shyamchandpur gave financial also by the way of selling of 5 Bighas of Crop land.,

It is important to say that Sri Ramdas Ramanujder Mohanta of the said “ Sitaram temple” gave boost to the efforts donating about 2 Bighas of land to set up the school.

        The foundation stone of the school was planted in 22nd November – 1969, The historic day.

        it was the matter of surprise Mr. Madhusudan Ghosh of shyamchandpur joined to the noble effort with Himalayan spirit and great organizing capabilities.

        We never forget their sacrifice hard labour and devotion we salute them.
