History

The School was established in a remote village in 1953 by SWAMI AJITANANDA, a monk of RAMKRISHNA MISSION . He took the help of some honest people adjoining village . Late Bankim Bihari & Achyutananda Ghosh donated a vast land to set up this school. At first it was thatched but and gradually developed into concrete and teen shade. Now it is a large double stroried Building and the number of students increased to 1200, from class V to XII . Upto Secondary Level it is a boys' School under WBBSE and the Higher Secondary is Co-ed with the fascility of Humanaties and Science srream under WBCHSE.
