GARHBETA HIGH SCHOOL has been established in the Year 1888 which is located at Garhbeta-1 No. Development Block, Paschim Medinipur. West Bengal, Pin-721127.

Shri Kalinath Ray was one of the founder member and teacher with the help of Shri Ramanath Ray (1st Management Committee Memeber), Shri Avinash chandra Ray, Shri Chanchal Kumar Ray, Shri Jayanta Kumar Ray, Shri Sunil Kumar Ray and others, GARHBETA HIGH SCHOOL placed his name in the map of School Education. In the Year 1888, Pt.S.K Agasti was the person for whom Garhbeta High School earned his position as one of the best school in the Medinipur District.
