A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE SCHOOL

In the late 60’s of the last century, lack of educational institute and derangement of talent of the young boys and girls of this locality haunted some philanthropic lovers of education and social activists lie Late Jaharlal Bag (The land donor), Late Gobordhondhari Dey, Late Ashutosh Pal, Late Bibhutibhusan Mandal and so many others-who ultimately took their breathe of relief in 1969 when they succeeded in setting up the Dabcha Nabakola Junior School at Dabcha, Post- Satbankura, P.S.- Garhbeta, Dist.- Paschim Medinipur, with some students and a few revered teachers. From then on months and years of ardent efforts of those personalities along with that of the teachers and local people have brought the recognition of a JUNIOR SCHOOL in 1971, the recognition of a HIGH SCHOOL in 1979, the recognition of a Government Sponsored School in 2014, the upgradation of a HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL (With ARTS and SCIENCE STREAM) in 2015. Meanwhile another feather- the stream imposing VOCATIONAL AND TECHINCAL EDUCATION has been added to the crown of the school in 2005-06. The school has observed the SILVER JUBILEE of its journey in 1996-97, at a time when the school has been experiencing the golden era of its success, having earned a name and fame as a class one educational institute. Hundreds and thousands of students have been wrought into well-disciplined, cultured and educated persons who still illumine the society.
