History

The school is recognised by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education on 1st day of July, 1978.

Then the school came under Grant-in-aid / Deficit basis scheme on 1st day of March, 1949.

The school was first recognised by the University of Calcutta on 1st day of January, 1948.
