History

Muksudpur High School (HS) was founded in the year 1961 as a junior high schoolat Kismat Rajpura ,a remote village,in the district of undivided Medinipur.The river Kangsabati is flowing about 400meter away from the school.The environment of the school is full of natural beauty.A peaceful natural serenity always exists here.The school is 6 km away from the National High Way.Nearest bus stop is Sultanpur and nearest rail station is Shyamchak under Howrah- Kharagpur route .There's a large and beautiful play ground inside the campus.The School has broadband connection since 2010.The school was upgraded to Madhyamik standard in 2005 and to HS level in 2012 with arts stream.Now total roll strength is about 700.Teaching staff is13,para teacher 01,clerck 01,and group D -02.The hostel facility is available .This year 68 students sat for MP examination and all of them passed.Similarly HS result is also good.About 60 percent of the students are first generation learners .A major part of them belong to down trodden lag behind poor SC or ST category.The school has sufficient pucca building with sufficient TLM.Co curricular activities  are regularly done here.Many successful students  of this school are now doing their jobs all over the India,even in America ,Britain.Anil Pahan and Bharti Pahan Scholarship helps good students to continue their studies.
