The institution had a humble beginning . A kind hearted man late Arun Chandra Jana had envisaged to dispel the darkness of ignorance and to enhance the quality of life of the people in this interior areas of keshiary Block where most of people belong to SC & ST category and whose life revoled around the vicious circle of proverty. His heart used to bled in seeing the little childred loitering around due to lack of school nearby. So, he donated few bighas of own land for a school to be set up. The local residents also extended their supporting hands heartily by donating, bamboos, strow, woods and various materials. A mud house with strow thaching was set up as a school at Kaliapara with twenty students. This new school the then dedicated in name of great person and philosopher Sri Sri Ramkrishna Paramhansha dev. Sripati Bhakta a lerned man was appointed as the first head master to begin this great work.
