In 1975 a group of learned persons thought a High School to set up in this area. In those days there was no High School within 10 K.M from this village. So they set up this school by their hard working. But after 25 years running the above mentioned School there is no government affiliation from the then Govternment. In the auspicious day the School is affiliated by West Bengal Board of SecondaryEducationon 01/05/1996 as a 4 class Jr. High School and as a High Scool the affiliation is got in 2005.
