Dhanyagachhi High School (H.S)

Our Institution is located at the centre of the village DHANYAGACHHI. The villagers of Dhanyagachhi and its adjacent areas- Damodarpur, Uranchak, Gobindapur, Palasa, Gopalpur, Bhagirathpur, Kota,Boxitola, Nischintapur & Kaigeria assembled  together with a view to building a school at Dhanyagachhi for their children. At first they made a mud building with two class rooms and the school got two class (V & VI) approval in 1956. Subsequently 4 Class & Secondary approval were obtained. The sincere efforts of villagers brought the school to that position. The school got secondary approval w-e-f 01.01.1962  with Co-education. The school had its HS section w-e-f 2006-07 only with Arts stream & X+2 vocational section with VIII+STC in Tailoring & Telephone & Mobile set repairing in 2007-08. Our school is Govt sponsored w-e-f 04.05.2015. Next year the H.S section was enriched with Science stream with subjects- PHYSICS , CHEMISTRY, MATHEMATICS, BIOSCIENCE and NUTRITION & also with a new subject Health & Physical Education.
