''Tearberia Jagannathpur T.R.High School was founded by the limitless effort and hardship of Late Amulya Charan Samanta (1911-1988) & Late Durlav Charan Samanta (1902-1970) on the 2nd of January -1939, who showed the generosity of their heart by donating the land and pecuniary, on which the basic structure was made for the purpose of memory of Late Trailokya Samanta and Late Ramanath Samanta. Villagers and other famous persons also came forward to light the lamp of education in the area with their continuous enterprise. This school was established as the first M.E.School at the junction of Tearberia and Jagannathpur villages.''
