The Golden History of the School:

One Chandrakona was the city centre of the king Chandraketu. The debris of his dynasty now is found here and there of this city. It was once a great city remaining 52 markets and 53 allies. The locality largely dependent on jute- production, rice, utensil and business. Unfortunately there was a proverb of Chandrakona- “Chandrakona is the hotbed of Malaria”. It destroyed the pomp and grandeur of the city chandrakona transforming it into a deserted, isolated city. Time pasted. In such period the renowned  landlord of Uttarpara came forward to spread the ray of learning all over the Bengal. In 1852 this scholar set up total 75 schools in Bengal and Mundumala Jirat is one of them. That little sapling of the -then period has transform into a well ground tree in this due course of time.
