History

Tarbandha High School was established in the year 1965. This school is one of the oldest existing schools in Phansidewa Block. It was recognized as upper primary school in the year 1973. It is initially known as Tarbandha Junior High School which was for Class V to Class VIII and Co-Educational.

The school was upgraded into a secondary school in the year 1984 and renamed as Tarbandha High School. The school runs from Class V to Class X. The goal of the school is to provide a healthy and caring environment in which all members of the institution irrespective of their class, religion or creed can achieve personal excellence and where both effort and achievement are encouraged and nourished. As per the demand of the age the little rural school has set out its digital journey, side by side of its seamless offline mode.
