History

Bharati Hindi Vidyalaya (H.S) is a very well known Hindi medium co-ed school in Siliguri . It was established in the year 1967 to fulfil the requirement of upper primary education (V-VIII), especially for the  Hindi medium students of the local people including tea gardens areas. This School was recognised as a Junior High School (Co-education) by the WBBSE , West Bengal in the year 1978 with initial quota of six approved Teachers ,one clerk  and one Gr. D staff . Gradually this School achieved upgradation up to class X (V-X) as a High School in the year 2000. On the ground of satisfactory results of Madhyamik as a Hindi medium school , this school was upgraded up to class XII (V-XII) with Arts faculty in the year 2006. On the ground of strong demand by the guardians and students ,Science Faculty was introduced in year 2013 This school has sufficient infrastructures including Computer education for the students. With the strength of skilled and highly qualified teachers this school is going to be the "FUTURE OF THE STUDENTS" very soon.
