History

Beltala Junior Girls High School was established in 2009. It is located in the remote villages of Turturi. It is about 40 km away from the district town of Alipurduar. Mainly Tea workers of the ST community are found in this region. Due the bad condition of the daughters of the tea workers there, the locality has taken the decision to build up a Girls School, keeping in mind about the women upliftment of this remote place. The Academic year started from 2011 with two teachers and  few students.
