Saontalpur Mission High School (H.S.) is a Government-aided Christian Minority, Co-Educational School under the Diocese of Eastern Himalaya, CNI in Alipurduar District of West Bengal. The School was established in 1945 with The Primary Section. The birth of the school was purely the initiative of some Philanthropists like Mr Lazar Hansda, Mr John besra, Mr Daniel Marandi, Mr Prabhat Debnath, Mr Munni Hansda, Mr Bhabesh Pandit and Mr Barnabas Hansda. They use to collect paddy from villages to pay the teachers. Later, the school was handed over to the missionaries of CMS, England for better education and governance. The high school was established in 1962 and subsequently recognised as class X school in 1973 by the West Bengal Board Of Secondary Education. In 2010, it was upgraded to higher secondary with arts stream and since 2018, the school also opened the science stream in the H.S. section.
