SHIBKATA B.F.P SCHOOL is a State Government Aided Co-ed Bengali Medium School. It is situated at the heart of UTTAR SHIBKATA Village in Alipurduar -II Dev. Block of Alipurduar district of West Bengal beside the SRINATHPUR TEA ESTATE under Alipurduar North Circle. This school is reputed to be one of the oldest and leading institution for primary education. It was established in 1942 by BAHARUDDIN SARKAR (Land lord). Firstly the school was started in his own house. Later on he built a small school house in his donated land 2 Bigha (66 desimel). Here the teaching grade is provided from Pre Primary to class V under WEST BENGAL BOARD OF PRIMARY EDUCATION.
