History

In the year 2000, Bhutanirghat Girls’ High School was established as Bhutanirghat Jr. Girls High School. That time recognition was given to run the school from class V-VIII. The president of organising committee of the school was Sri Jogesh Ch. Barman, honourable minister (WB.). It will be wrong, if it not mentioned that the School was his dream for the girls of his village, Bhutanirghat under the Guabarnagar Gram Panchayet.

He tried his best to set up the school. Later he did many things for the upliftment of the school and above all Girls education.

The First managing committee was organised on 11-05-2002. The elected president was Sri Jiten Barman and the elected secretary was Sri Jagodish Ch. Roy Asoar.

In the year 2005, the Jr. School was upgraded into high School and now, all paper works have been done for the up gradation from High School to Higher Secondary School.
