History

Mairardanga Goppu Memorial High School (H.S.) was established on 17th February, 1966. Sri Somaru Barman provided land for this school. Sri Goppu Barman was the father of Sri Somaru Barman. The name of the school was cited on the name of Sri Goppu Barman. In 1971 the school got the affiliation from West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (W.B.B.S.E.). In 1982 the school became Higher Secondary school and got the affiliation from West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (W.B.C.H.S.E.). Our Vocational stream was started in the year 2005.
