History

PARANGERPAR SISHU KALYAN HIGH SCHOOL (HS) is a Government Sponsored Institution under the Govt. of West Bengal started its academic journey on 18th September, 2000. This Institution is one of the pioneering Academic Institutions of Falakata Block of Alipurduar district in West Bengal, catering to the academic needs of a large number of students coming from different parts of not only from the locality but also from Dooars and neighbouring districts. This was a historic day when it established. Some educationationists, social-workers of Parangerpar Mouza thought the need of proper education for the little children of this locality within their reach away from din and bustle of Falakata block town. Soon their ideas transformed into reality. In 2000, it was a little one, a Junior High school. But its achievement strike to the noble thoughts of more people. Well-wishers and authorities came forward for support of this Institution and in 2006 it was upgraded as a High school by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE). Student enrollment increased compared to the last years and it had never to look back. In 2010 the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) upgraded this Institution to the level of a Higher Secondary Institution. Thus a little plant grown up to a large one.
