History

Begam Rabeya Khatun Jr. High School was recognized as 4 class jr. with co-education by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education vide memo no. S/Recog/97/2 dated 10-01-1997 w.e.f. 01-05-1997

The school was first sanctioned with Grant-In-Aid for payment of salary ect. Vide memo no. 928 dt 26-05-97 of D.I.S(SE), Jalpaiguri

The school was upgraded as high school (Secondary) on the recommendation of the state govt. vide memo no. 1638(SE)(S)/35-25/98 dt. 23-12-2005 and Board’s recognition no. S/Recog/2006/427 dt. 13-03-2006 w.e.f 01-05-2006

The school upgraded to higher secondary and recognized as Begam Rabeya Khatun High School (H.S) Vide Deputy Secretary (Academic) & West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education memo no. DS(Aca) SD/0188/Recog/2014 dated 18-07-2014 [Institution code (H.S)- 08249] Ref. G.O. no. 539/SE/S/35-112/13 dt. 27-06-2014
