History

Dakshin Haldibari New Primary School was established in the year 1970 as a Government owned primary school.The first location of the school was one km away from it's present location.The thatched roof bamboo made hut type school building was later transferred to its present location.The land for this was donated by one of the villagers namely Mr.Somra Oraon.The school will ever be indebted to Mr.Oraon for his noble deed.

Presently the school comprises of five classes i.e pre-primary,and classes -I to IV.And the total number of students each year is near about 100 on average.The school is managed by VEC as per norms of Government from time to time.
