History

Nangdala T.G. Primary School is situated in the Nangdala Tea Garden within the Block of Madarihat under the District of Alipurduar, West Bengal. This School was established in 1952 on the land, donated by Tea Garden. As it is come to know by Senior citizens of this Garden Mr. Mithan Balmiki and ex student of this School Mr. Kushal Lakra that the founder teacher of this School was Late Philip Pahan Kujur and the School was first started at Hat Khola. During his period Mr. Sadhu Charan Oraon joined as an Assistant Teacher and later on Mr. Luthar Kujur also joined as an assistant teacher. The School started with Kachha House and School Hour was between 11:00 AM to 01:00 PM. Later on Mr. Sadhu Sir become Head Teacher of the School. During his period Late Trigunanand Giri also joined as an Assistant Teacher in the year of 1980. After the retirement of Mr. Sadhu Sir and Luther Sir, Trigunand Giri Sir took responsibility as an Teacer-in-Charge of the School. At that time the number of pupil was huge and the school has only a single teacher, Trigunand Giri Sir. At that time Tea Garden took some resposibility and appoint Mr. Sukhram Kujur and Mr. Roshan Minj as a teacher in the School which was managed and paid by Garden Management Committee. 

During the time of T.N. Giri was in Teacher-in-Charge, Mr. Ashok Kumar Shrivastava joined as a Head Teacher of the School on 22nd September 2001. Later on T.N. Giri was transferred to Jaybirpara T.G. Primary School. In the year of 2003 Newly D.P.E.P. School bulding constructed near Nangdala T.G. Hospital and the School was shifted from Hat Khola to newly constructed building.

In the year 2003, Mr Raju Sharma was joined as an Assistant Teacher on 1st November 2003. Later on Miss Nivedita Ekka also joined as an V.R.P. Teacher in the School. After getting job in Anganwadi Worker Miss Nivedita left the School. After that Mr. Sukhram Kujur and Mr. Roshan Minj also left the School. In the year 2009 Miss Jyoti Kerketta joined as a Para Teacher. In the year of 2010, Mr Pradip Kumar Chaubey, Mr. Md Mustaque Ansari and Mr. Rupesh Dahal joined as an Assistant Teacher in the School.

On 31st January 2018 Mr. Ashok Kumar Shrivastava retired from his service and School's Senior Teacher, Mr. Raju Sharma became Teacher-in-Charge of the School. 

At present Mr. Raju Sharma as a Teacher-in-Charge, Mr. Pradip Kumar Chaubey, Mr. Md Mustaque Ansari, Mr. Rupesh Dahal as an Assistant Teachers and Miss Jyoti Kerketta as a Para Teacher working in the School.
