History

In the beginning years, the school was run by the teachers of nearby primary school (Devkota ITDP Primary School) for two years. In the year 2012 one guest teacher was appointed by the concerned department and till December 2013 respected guest teacher Shree Babulal Thapa (Retired Teacher of Ramjhora Bazar Hindi high School) ran the school with the help of primary school up to class V with student strength of 07. In the month of December 2013 two teachers were appointed through School Service Commission for the post of Math(PG), Shree Madhav Sharma (M.sc., B.ed.) and Geography (Pass), Smt. Rittambhara Bhandari (B.A., B.ed.). Hence from the year 2014 the school was run by three teachers with classes V and VI

In the year 2015, classes were upgraded up to class VII . In the month of September 2015 our beloved guest teacher Shree Babulal Thapa retired from the school at the age of 65 years. Hence from October 2015 school was run by two teachers.

In the year 2016 school was upgraded up to class VIII with student strength of 52. It was continuously run by two teachers with the help of primary school teachers. In the month of April 2018 one of the teachers of Geography (Pass) Smt. Rittambhara Bhandari got special transfer to her home town Siliguri. This was a great loss of school but a great achievement of our beloved Mam. From then the school has become a single teacher school with four classes. Fortunately, in April 2018 a Group D staff, Mr. Uday Kumar Ram was appointed through School Service Commission. With the kind support of all five staffs of Devkota ITDP Primary School the school has been running smoothly till date.
