Jhargram Netaji Adarsha High School earstwhile known as Netaji Adarsha Hindi School owes its debut origin to the progressive and dedicated spirit of the Forest Merchants Association Who felt the exigent need of such a school that would provide the Hindi- Speaking Children of Jhargram with education in their mother tongue.The pioneering drive initiated by the Patron Late Jadunath Singh in this regard was spearheaded by Late Harenath Pathak, founder secretary which led to the resultant birth of a Hindi  medium Primary school at Ghoradhara area on some plot of land donated by benevolent King Of Jhargram Raja Narasingha Malladev. In this nascent state the school had to overcome innumerable hurdles. The spaling of the past has become a full grown tree in the present. Gradually the school was upgraded to the status of Junior High School and the foundation stone was laid by Sri A.B.Bardhan,the ex-D.F.O., Jhargram in the year 1967 with Late Jadunath Sigh as the founder of the school and was renamed as Jhargram Netaji Adarsha High Shool. With The passage of time and expansion of education, this institution was upgraded to a secondary school in the  year 1986 and upgrded to Higher Secondary School in the year 2015.
