History

For the development of any village,society and country the roll of social organisation play the vital roll.The brief history of this school proves the proverb "Unity is Strength".

The school was named after Sangchen Dorjee Gumba ( The renouned monestry of Sakyong ).

The then far sighted person Lt. Kanzi Pem Bhutia started this school in the year 1900 AD for monks.There the languages like Bhutia,Nepali and English were taught.
