If there is any institution needed by modern societies to guarantee its future it is educational institution. Since its inception from ancient times schools have transmitted society’s values and culture, been repositories of shared wisdom and knowledge and powerful agent of change i.e. to strive for an all round development of individuals . A person becomes perfect with education as he is not only gaining something from it but also contributing to the growth of a nation, reduces inequalities and encourage democratic political system. In this regard I would like to bring to your kind attention about our schools i.e Indo-Tibetan Higher Secondary School which has been striving from the past 53 years especially catering the quality educational needs of the poorest section of the Kalimpong Hills.
