History

Chakdighi Girls' High Schoo was established on 02nd January in the year 1954 by some local persons out of which Shri Baidyanath Singha Roy was the important founder member of the school. Shri Singha Roy was donated some area of land to eatablish one school at Chakdighi. First by the financial help of some honest person the school was established with five rooms. Subsequently the school was upgraded to high school in the year 1976 by School education Department.
