History

The school was established in the year 1968 as a Two-class Junior High School consisting of class V and VI. From the academic session 1969 it became a Four-class Junior High School with class V-VIII. In the Year 1979, the school was recognized by WBBSE as X-class Secondary High School. Later from the academic session 2002-2003, the school was upgraded to a XII-class Higher Secondary school with Arts, Science and Commerce streams. From the year 2013, the school was converted from a Govt. aided school to Govt. Sponsored School. The school has its bright alumni which includes doctors, engineers, professors, teachers,  businessmen and self employed persons in different fields of the society and serve the society dedicatedly. The school building was inaugurated by former honourable Vice Chancellor of Burdwan University Dr. Ramaranjan Mukhopadhaya.
