History

During the 1st half of the 20th century the progress of primary education in villages in India including Khandra was very  much  disappointing. Villagers  suffered most for being illiterate. To develop literacy, to enable for self development, to develop aesthetic  sense, to develop social responsibility villagers feel need for implementation of a school.

In 1903 villagers planted a sapling- Khandra Primary School with just one room, few dedicated teachers and some tiny tots - has bloomed into a full fledged having 5 classes over 300 students and 10 teachers. KHANDRA F P SCHOOL serves the local community with  highest standard of education to ensure "Excellence for all."
