History

Our school bears a glorious heritage. The institution is the visionary insight of Late Dhirendra Nath Layek who donated land for setting up the school and it was indeed a blessing for the villagers. The school was named after his mother. The school was established in 1946 and ran successfully under the school board of that time. As per Government protocols, this temple of education got its  recognition by the District Primary School Council in 1990 by the then authority vide Memo No. 2109(2) dated 12.06.1990. Time is passing on it's natural pace and our school is making sensible future citizens year after year.
