History

Lachipur F.P school is one of the oldest school in Lachipur Colliery.It was established in 1971 on the land of ECL.One of the local people,Mr. Malay Basu took initiative to establish this school. Previously,both the primary and upper primary were run in the same building.But later,new building for upper primary section  was built,100 metres away from old building and the primary  school is being continued in the same old building as before.This school has been receiving love and support from the local people since its establishment.
