In the beginning some of the education-interested villagers started teaching of the few numbers boys and girls of the village under open air or tree or at the Kalima mandir.The nearest primary school was at about 2.5km away.So they tried to set up a govt school in the village.Teacher Haridas Mukherji extended his helping-hand for sanctioning the school.In the year 1981 the school got affiliation.The school-building construction was started on the land donated by Kamal Ghosh.Thus the new journey of TARAKDANGA F.P. SCHOOL began.
