Madanpur Mahesh Vidyamandir is located in the heart of the village , Madanpur which falls into Durgapur sub-division in Pschim Bardhaman. The renowned Zaminder and keen educationist, late Mahesh Chandra Chattopadhya’s worthy grandson late Pinaki Charan Chattopadhyay who was an educationist of great repute established this school in 1957 on the 2nd day of January with the instrumental help and co-operation of his brothers.
