Our school Jamgram Anchalick High School is situated in such an area where thousands of people remained far away from the light of education at the time of establishment the institution. Some people interested in education among the necessity to spread education among the people deprived of education. In this context it should be mentioned that our institution is in such an area where a large number of people belongs to SC/ST. So education was very important to enlighten the deprived class along with other community. After a lot of effort some benevolent people were finally successful to set up the institution in 1995. At that time our institution got the permission as a Junior High School from W.B.B.S.E. In 2000 our school got the status of a secondary institution from W.B.B.S.E. The reputation of our institution was spreading quickly and consequently the number of students was increasing by leaps and bound. In 2007 our institution introduced vocational Education course at 10+2 level after getting permission from West Bengal State Council of Vocational Education and Training. Our school was gradually going onward with full pride. In 2012 our School got the permission of H.S. from West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education. Result of our school is satisfactory at secondary and higher secondary level along with vocational (X+2 level) . The infrastructural development of our institution is commendable.

Supporting programs for students requiring some extra assistance include Self Defense program. In addition to classroom teaching, students participate in K-yan classes and Library classes each week.

Parental involvement is actively sought and vital to the success of a wide range of extra-curricular activities at Jamgram Anchalick High School.

Besides, the school provides Vocational Education (X+2) in Electrical and Automobile stream .Jamgram Anchalick High School has a school attached hostel for SC and ST boys.
