Domohani  region is a financially backward region and there was no opportunities to educate people especially girls. Then Mr. Mohan Lal , Roy family & financial support from ECL helped us to start schooling only for class V in 1959.

Dkghs was upgraded to Junior High School in 1963.The first class X batch passed our school in 1965.First teaching  staffs who joined us in 1967 were as follows

Lipika Dutta,Anita Bakshi,Anjana Mukherjee.

First HM of the school was Mrs Papiya Banerjee.

We were awarded Nirmal  Vidyalaya in 2017 and also received First Prize for Kanyashree in 2019 in the block.
