PANAGARH RAILWAY COLONY High School remains to be one of the prized possessions of the panagarh. The school is located near the panagarh railway station. Since its establishment in the year 1963, it has been catering to the educational needs of the people residing in Panagarh and several other adjacent villages like Dharala,Raghunathpur,railway colony jhupripara many more. Previously housed in a not-so-spacious building, the school has now shifted a part of it to a sprawling ground nearby. At present the school accommodates about 333 students, pursuing their courses in Secondary Education.sisteen dedicated staff-members and 3 are non-teaching staff are working round the clock to provide quality education to students. The school is ably run by Mr. Madhab chandra chatterjee, the Head Master. The infrastructural facilities that the school has developed for itself are quite excellent. The school has seen many ups and downs over the years, but it has sincerely strived hard to attain excellent results in Board or Council Examinations. A great number of ex-students of this school have firmly established themselves in different conspicuous posts or positions, and they have a great reverence for their achievements. Let us hope this hallowed institution will scale newer and newer heights in the future course of its way.
