In the late ‘80s , the school was started in a single hut with around 24-25 students. A teacher from Birbhum district came and toughed the students. At that time the school was not actually free of cost. A minimal fees was taken from the students but only for the maintenance purposes. A piece of land of 4300 sq. feet (almost 6 kottah/12 satak) was donated by SK. Nabi, a resindance of the village. After that Govt. of West Bengal undertook the school and build up the school with concrete roof. There after teachers were also appointed by WB Govt. In the year 1981 , the school was established completely.
