Haripur Free Primary school was affiliated by West Bengal Govt. on 2nd January'1955.This School was started with only 35 students.Mr.Prangopal Saha was the first head teacher and Mr. Debidas Banerjee 1st assistant teacher of this school.In beginning this school was started in a kutcha house which content one hall and a veranda.Latter on Gram Unnayan Samiti had given donation to build two pucca classrooms.With the passage of time this school got its present appearance with the help of State Govt. donation.Then in 2008 E.C.L made two more classrooms for the tribal students.Currently this school has one female teacher and Four Male teachers along with 185 students on 2020.
