History

The school is situated at haripur colliery. It has a decent Hindi speaking population. There was scarcity of Hindi medium schools in the region. And specially the girl students were not able  to continue their education. Thus Late  Ram dhari Thakur with the help of local social reformers and educationist initiated to set up the school for the better future of Hindi speaking students specially the girls. And with this motto he started the school in 2009. In the year itself Miss Sita Choudhary joined as the very first teacher of the school. And together they with the help of ad hoc committee and the si of schools at that time developed the school as one of the reputed school of the district.

I qualified wbssc exam in 2009 with Hindi subject from pass course and joint this school as an assistant teacher come teacher- in- charge 2009.

As for as my school concern ,this school was established in the year of 2009 as an upper primary with two classes V-VI  having 92 student only. The whole occupied area of this school is 0.78 acre.The person who donated the land to the school is Ratan Turi s/o Diren Turi. The beginning  of the school ,there where only two classrooms with no boundary wall ,no electricity and no water supply facility . The school was running with only two staff me and guest teacher Mr. D .N. Goswami .As the time past ,the school upgraded from junior high school to high school in the year 2014with the strenuous effort of committee , local bodies and Government Authority .

At present the school is running as higher secondary after obtaining the recognition from WBBSE in 2017 having the huge number of roll strength of 1507 students. Obviously our school has got a big land mark during these 9 years of span that is from 2009 to 2020. I think this is a great achievement for this school. The school has now 22 additional class rooms ,two staff rooms, one big hall ,pne HM room , five boys toilet , five girls toilet , good facility of electricity and one library. We have only six Governments approved full timer teachers and one non-teaching staff .(SITA CHOUDHARY,RAJESH KUMAR ,OM PRAKASH TIWARY,SUNIA DAS,SISIR BAURI,SUBRATA KUMAR DAS,UMESH KUMAR CHOUDHARY).I want to thanks all part timer teachers who are contributing for the benefit of the student for better education. Having a good vision and a clear goal.

I always tried my best for quality best education for our students which must be concentrated upon. In the end ,I want to says that I am very happy and must privileged  of bring and important part of this school. I have been serving this school with great sincerity and whole education since 2009 to till date. I wish and hope this school develop more and more in coming future .
