History

Ballvpur ramgopal Saraf Vidyapith H.S, had its auspicious inception in the year 1965 as a 4-class junior High school. In the beginning the school had no building of its own, it was run in the premises of Raniganj High school. It was shifted to the present one at ballavpur in the year 1966 when late Ram Gopal Saraf who donated land and founded the present school building. Since then began it's journey along the avenue of education. in 1969 it was upgraded to X class co-educational secondary school and  then to XII class secondary school ( co-ed) in the year 2002 having only arts subjects.Later science subjects were  introduced .
