History

The school was establised  in 1999 . The land belongs to Durgapur Steel Plant (D.S.P) It was constructed under the scheme of Sarva Shiksha Avijan to promote education among slum children.

The schools first offices were one among rejected and demolished quarters of D.S.P. and was further improved from then onwards. Due to the mother tongue of the majority of the children in and around the school was either Bengali or Hindi, so the school later became a Bilingual school.
