D.S.T.C F. P School was established by DURGAPUR STATE TRANSPORT CORPORATION with a vision to educate the childrens of the staffs of the transport corporation . The school initially started in two quarters of the residential complex of the corporation on 9th January 1978. Two teacher was appointed one Head Teacher Lt Subodh kumar Ghosh and one assistant teacher Smt Sonali Dey. The medium of instructions was bengali at first. Later for the hindi speaking children Hindi section was introduced. Now admission was open to all. Seeing the enrollment more teacher both for Bengali and Hindi medium was appointed by the transport corporation. A special pick up bus was alloted at that time. The school shifted to its new building provided by the transport corporation from 8th March 1980. The New building of the school was inaugurated by Mr Md Amin honorable Minister Of Transport on the previous mentioned date.Later the school was taken over by DPSC burdwan .
