In 1973 a few intellectuals of kumarpur were established a co-educational school to provide primary education to children of the locality on the name of Zakir Hussain Urdu F.P School,when the school was founded it had a kachcha building, later SSM Burdwan funded for the constraction of pucca building .Now it is two storyed building with facilities of drinking water,electricity and separate toilet for boys and girls.This school is continious provided best education in urdu medium children.
