This school, a Minority institution for only boys of Hindi Medium, belonged to the Roman Catholic Christian of Asansol  in 1954 by  Druggman. 

Till class X, it's affiliated to the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education and in the year 2010. It was upgraded to West Bengal  Higher  Secondary  Council. 

The school is run by the Minorities Special Rules.
