LAXMI DEVI BALIKA VIDYALAYA was established in 1960 . School Building is donated by a marwari lady named Laxmi Devi. In respect of her name , school was named LAXMI DEVI BALIKA VIDYALAYA . She was very great .She knew the value of education. That time ,there was no primary school at present location Munshi Bazar,Asansol.The first Head teacher of Laxmi Devi Balika Vidyalaya was Miss Bella . She was very good in nature and work hard for school to collect children as student.
