History

Asansol Chowalal Madhyamik Vidyalaya (H.S) is one the oldest and most prominent  school in Asansol. The school was established in 1965. The land was doneted by late Chowalal for school purposes . The founding members were late Biswanath Shaw , Late Ram topeshwar Singh, and Late Ram Naresh Singh. Late Ram Naresh Singh was the founding Headmaster of the school .Firstly the school was started as unrecognised and paved the path of education . Later the school was recogonised by West Bengal Board of Secondary as a Junior High school on 1st january 1969. It was upgraded as high school in 2000. The higher secondary section in this school was started from 2017.
