Jhiladanga is under Asansole Municipal Corporation of ward no. 2. Most of the villagers are belonged to SC or ST community. There was no such educational institution before 1974.Thus Mr. Subhas Chandra Nandi and Rabindranath Nandi of nearby village Sattore were inspired the villagers of Jhiladanga to establish JHILADANGA ADIBASI F. P. SCHOOL in 1975. Villagers donated money, land, labour e.t.c for the school. Mr. Bijoy Kora donated maximum land for the school. They abled to build a kachha house for the school. The school was recognized in1976. After that by the strong support of the government now it's a nice pucca school.
